Abstract: |
Eleven trenches provided largely negative evidence showing a general absence of archaeological features. Trench 28 contained the only feature dateable to the prehistoric period in the form of a pit from which a number of sherds of Grimstone Ware pottery and flint blades dateable to the early Neolithic period were recovered. Two additional updateable features were identified. Trench 25 contained a sub-rectangular pit and trench 30 contained a truncated post hole. [Au(abr)] |
