Abstract: |
The work was undertaken prior to tree planting by The Woodland Trust. Virtually no pottery of archaeological interest was located: the small assemblage consisting of 18th-19th century material. A moderate scatter of fire-cracked flint and worked flint attested to some prehistoric activity thought to be predominantly of Late Bronze Age. No strong concentrations of material were apparent although there were three slight clusterings in wide-set areas. [Au] |
