Abstract: |
Extension of the existing quarry at Kensworth by Rugby Cement required the implementation of an agreed programme of archaeological investigation in advance of quarrying operations. A programme of trial trenching and fieldwalking failed to identify any significant archaeological remains. The archaeological potential of the area of the quarry appeared to be low. [Au(abr)] |
