Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during the construction of an extension to the existing building. The site was of potential archaeological interest as it was within the presumed extent of Fulwell medieval village and because of it's proximity to prehistoric burials on Atkinson Road. However, no deposits of archaeological significance were located as the foundation trenches for the extension did not penetrate beneath post-medieval levelling deposits. [Au(adp)] |
