Abstract: |
Desk-based assessment identified that the most important archaeological features at and around Mill Farm were the "Deserted Medieval Village" and buildings shown in Langden's 1596 map, the mill (the existing building, its medieval and post-medieval forbears, ancillary buildings and mill pond), the medieval ridge and furrow system and the post-medieval buildings shown on the 1807 enclosure map but no longer in existence.
