The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A desk-based assessment was undertaken following proposals to construct new residential properties on the site. The area had remained undeveloped until probably the early 18th century. Thomas Fane had a house there in the 1740's. Redland Hall was built nearly before the end of the century. A third house (Redland Bank) was added in the 19th century. All three houses survived until 1961 when they were removed for the construction of Redland College. [Au(abr)]
