Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the construction of a new school building on the site where human remains had been discovered in the 19th century. Although a few human bones were recovered near the corner of one of the new buildings, it was thought that the construction of the tennis courts in the mid 1980s had destroyed any archaeology on the site.
