Abstract:
Two trial trenches were excavated, as an evaluation required as a planning condition. Directly below several layers of modern levelling material and consolidation the natural was recorded, comprising silty clay and gravel bands. No soil horizons were present. In trench 2 an irregular feature, probably of natural origin was overlain by the modern overburden. [Au(adp)]
