Abstract: |
The watching brief was carried out during the construction of dwellings on the site. The excavation of house footings revealed numerous backfilled clay extraction pits, most intercutting one another. Two post holes were also found. The site was at its most active during the 13th-14th centuries, with considerably less activity during the 14th-16th centuries. [Au(adp)] |
