Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	During renovation work by English Heritage masons, a section of the wall was cut out for refacing. This showed the former presence of tie beams in the core of the wall. As a consequence the structural detail of the wall was recorded before the reinstatement of the outer wall. [AIP]
