Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at a proposed development site which was considered to be of moderate archaeological potential, as Mesolithic, Bronze Age, Saxon and medieval findspots had been recorded nearby. A large modern pit was encountered which contained a residual sherd of medieval pottery and fragments of tile and modern brick. No further archaeological work was recommended. [AIP] |
