Abstract: |
An undated bank and ditch which was recorded bisecting Cranham Common was not found to continue into the site on aerial photographs or during a site visit. A possibly different linear feature, however, was recorded on three aerial photographs dated between 1946 and 1969. The assessment also identified the former location of an area of woodland in the north of the study area, from the 1838 tithe map. A possible footpath of unknown date traversed the site. [Au(abr)] |
