Abstract: |
Three trial trenches were mechanically excavated. The area was found to have been heavily truncated by brick and concrete footings and deeply buried services. There was also evidence of chemical contamination. No archaeological features were observed, but three small, abraded sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from the overburden of one of the trenches. [Au(abr)] |
