Abstract: |
The Old Harry lay on top of a previous development, namely the London Hotel, which was built in the 1780s. Prior to this the precise use of the site was unclear. The presence of a building on the 1634 map suggested there was some archaeological potential, however, it was likely to have been destroyed through the subsequent developments. [Au(adp)] |
