Abstract: |
A watching brief ahead of development showed that the area had limited archaeological potential. There was no evidence for the presence of important or dense Palaeolithic deposits nearby, nor were finds or features of later date discovered. There was some possibility that the surface of the brickearth may have been quarried, but the brickearth may have been naturally thin at this location. [Au(adp)] |
