Abstract: |
The desk-based assessment established that there was no direct evidence of significant archaeological activity within, or in the immediate vicinity of the site. The study area was, prior to the construction of the late Victorian house fronting onto Beaufort Road, in use as pasture, and in the medieval period probably formed part of a large arable field.
