Abstract: |
A watching brief at the site revealed two shallow, intercutting gullies running parallel in a north east-south west direction. One was traced further south east in the wall footings. A few eroded sherds of probable Late Iron Age date and one securely dated Roman sherd added to the evidence for Roman occupation alluded to in a watching brief on the adjacent plot in 2003.
