Abstract: |
The archaeological potential of the site primarily lay in its close proximity to King's Court Palace and the western portion of the ancient deer park boundary. Although there was no evidence for previously recorded archaeological sites within the proposed development area, the historical study had hinted at the possibility that the deer park boundary may have been located further to the west than it was considered at present, and may have therefore crossed the western portion of the proposed development area.
