Abstract: |
Significant Roman remains were discovered during the evaluation, both features and artefacts. Dates ranged from the 1st century to the 4th century A.D.. Parts of the site were determined to be of great archaeological value, obviously being associated with the nearby villa complex. A number of suggestions for the future of the site were put forward with a recommendation for complete evaluation of the valuable part of the threatened area. [AIP] |
