Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during the excavation of a swimming pool to the rear of the site. Features such as a post-medieval brick drain and soakaway were revealed. More significant was the presence of a late Saxon pit which was consistent with the site's location within the area of the late Saxon town. [AIP] |
