Abstract: |
A watching brief confirmed a former alignment of the river, but no archaeological features or artefacts were observed. Archaeologists were unable to learn when the former channel was open and when it silted up. No further archaeological work was deemed necessary providing development excavation did not exceed the depth of archaeological observation. [AIP] |
