The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An open area excavation was carried out in the early summer of 1995 at an archaeological site on land proposed for an extension to a gravel quarry. Significant numbers of archaeological features and artefacts were revealed and from these it was considered that there were two phases of occupation represented. A Late Iron Age settlement, as indicated by the presence of storage pits and several linear features, and a later post-2nd century AD Romano-British settlement may have existed on the site. [AIP]
