Abstract: |
Twenty trenches were mechanically excavated at the site to a cumulative length of 450 metres. An east-west aligned ditch of post-medieval date was observed in three trenches. A series of undated pits with burnt fills, a hearth of possible prehistoric date and a probable modern post hole were also recorded. No other features of archaeological interest were observed.[Au(abr)] |
