Abstract: |
No archaeological features were encountered during the evaluation and the layers underlying the modern surface and make-up were mixed, containing prehistoric, Romano-British, medieval and post-medieval pottery. It was thought that the remains of a Second World War command bunker may have survived on the site although further investigation noted that it was situated to the north of the site. [AIP] |
