Abstract: |
During the course of the archaeological excavation a number of medieval features were uncovered. Despite the site being relatively small in size and number of excavated features it was nevertheless significant and warrented further study. Very few medieval sites had been identified in the Weald and the site offered a rare oppertunity to broaden the understanding of medieval settlement in the Wealden fringe.[Au(abr)] |
