Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation, consisting of the excavation of six trial trenches, was undertaken as part of the planning condition prior to residential development. The evaluation revealed a medieval horizon to be present at the front (eastern) part of the site. Two undated stone wall foundations were identified, which probably represented medieval occupation of the site. These remains truncated a medieval horizon that sealed an additional feature at the front of the site. No archaeological features were revealed in the western part of the site. [Au(adp)] |
