Abstract: |
Further assessment was undertaken on two additional areas subject to a Woodland Management Scheme application. No archaeological sites were identified in this additional area. Further evaluation of the importance of the archaeological remains noted in the previous assessment was undertaken. The Mesolithic and Neolithic flint scatters were identified as being of local or district importance, the Bronze Age flint scatters and cropmarks as being of regional or county importance and the areas of possible Iron Age and Roman settlement as being of regional importance.
