Abstract: |
A field evaluation on the site of proposed development located evidence for settlement during the Iron Age, and for a Roman presence during the later 1st to mid 2nd century AD. The work confirmed that the settlement located was a continuation of that previously evaluated on land to the south. A substantial Iron Age settlement was succeeded by a modest Early Roman one.
