Abstract: |
Monitoring of service trenches at the site revealed evidence of probable later prehistoric settlement in the form of pits and ditches. Iron Age pottery and a Neolithic flint scraper were recovered from the ploughsoil, as well as later prehistoric and Roman pottery elsewhere on the site. Former farm buildings had truncated much of the site. [Au(adp)] |
