Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of a foundation trench for new iron railings near the Roman fortress wall. Worked limestone blocks were discovered; these would seem to have served as part of a nearby rockery. No other archaeological deposits were found. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 1992.1001 (YAT investigation identification no) |
