Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a residential care home. Neolithic or Bronze Age worked flints and a Mesolithic axe had been found in the surrounding area, and medieval settlements had been documented. During the evaluation, tipped waste containing modern pottery and glassware was observed. No features pre-dating the 20th century were revealed, and it was concluded that the development would have no archaeological impact. [AIP] |
