Abstract: |
The site lay within the historic parish of Hinxton and was considered to have high archaeological potential. The site contained one Scheduled Ancient Monument, a Grade II List Building and adjoined a Grade II* Registered Historic Park and Garden. In addition, the site was considered to have high potential for further archaeological remains. There was extensive archaeological activity throughout the area, with occupation from at least the Bronze Age, with later prehistoric, Roman and medieval periods also well presented. [Au(abr)] |
