Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out during groundworks for the construction of a single dwelling. The watching brief confirmed the findings of a previous evaluation that the site had been heavily truncated. As a result only two shallow pits were found, one dated as 13th or 14th century and the other to the 19th century. The medieval pit seemed contemporary with the truncated structure found in the evaluation. [Au(abr)] |
