Abstract: |
An assessment was undertaken of a site at Beal's Yard, Alnwick where it was proposed to build houses. Although there was no cartographic evidence for buildings in the development area before the 19th century it was still considered possible that the area contained evidence of medieval/post-medieval occupation. The northern building of the Poorhouse, a Listed Building lay within the development area. [Au(abr)] |
