Abstract: |
The assessment was undertaken in advance of the demolition of the existing building and the construction of a new, larger, office block. Archaeological features were thought to lie deep beneath the post-medieval ground surface that covered the site. Both Hadrian's Wall and the medieval town walls were thought to run within 50 metres of the site. [AIP} |
