Abstract: |
The evaluation was undertaken as part of the archaeological mitigation of the Arcot Hall Development Area. The trench was sited to examine a magnetic anomaly identified as part of a structured programme of geophysical survey. No layers or features of archaeological significance were identified during the evaluation. The evaluation established that the magnetic anomaly identified in the geophysical survey was not of archaeological origin: it may have been caused by differing undisturbed subsoils. [Au(abr)] |
