Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken of an area proposed for the construction of an extension to Bury Barn Cottage, located within the scheduled area of Salmondsbury Camp (Gloucestershire SAM 99). The evaluation indicated that the footprint of the proposed development lay over a portion of the inner ditch of the Iron Age defences, and some 3.5m of the berm between the inner ditch and the bank. The western edge of the ditch was tentatively identified. [Au(adp)] |
