Abstract: |
The evaluation recorded evidence of siginificant early medieval occupation within the area of the proposed development, and post-medieval surfaces possibly relating to a manorial complex located on the site of Fairford House. The possibility of significant Saxon activity in the immediate vicinity was indicated by the presence of Anglo-Saxon grass tempered pottery. [Au(adp)] |
