Abstract: |
An evaluation, consisting of the excavation of two trenches was undertaken. Evidence was encountered of post-medieval quarrying of the site, possibly in connection with the 18th century reconstruction of the nearby St Kenelm's Church, but no earlier features of archaeological interest were identified.
