Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out in advance of a proposed redevelopment. Four trial trenches were excavated, and revealed some evidence relating to the use of the site for agricultural activities in the 18th and 19th centuries, but no other finds or features of significance were found. The trenches suggested that the proposed redevelopment was unlikely to disturb archaeological deposits of value, and it was recommended that no further archaeological involvement was required.
