Abstract: |
<summary>The remains of Ore Place were re-examined by means of trial-trenching. They had been thought to belong to a medieval manor house. The results suggested that the building was in fact an E-shaped or courtyard mansion, dating to the late 16th or early 17th century. However, medieval features were located, along with some finds, suggesting that the original medieval manor house might be nearby. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
