Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of nine geotechnical trial pits. The southern part of the site appeared to have been substantially undisturbed, having been occupied by open fields, or by parkland associated with Brentry Hospital. The northern portion appeared to have been subject to limestone quarrying. No significant archaeological deposits or artefacts were revealed. [Au(abr)] |
