Abstract:
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on three sites identified during a desk-based assessment as being of archaeological interest. Specifically these sites were a deserted settlement at Abbey Stadium, a possible bridge site at Bordesley garage, and fishponds at Cobbs Barn Farm. The evaluation determined that deposits survived in a sufficiently good condition to justify salvage recording on the site of the deserted settlement (HWCM 17) and low level watching briefs elsewhere.
