Abstract: |
The assessment was undertaken in advance of the construction of two lift shafts at Berwick Railway station. The site was deemed to lie within the scheduled ancient monument of Berwick Castle although post-medieval activity may have disturbed earlier remains when the railway station was built. [AIP] |
