Abstract: |
A preliminary archaeological assessment of the proposed re-development for the site was carried out and consisted of observation of the deep excavations associated with the terracing of the site to facilitate the construction of the new house. The made ground noted in the bore hole survey was apparent over the whole site and the potential for finding features or finds relating to the Iron Age occupation of the adjacent hillfort was therefore negligible. No finds of archaeological origin or features were recorded. [Au(adp)] |
