Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the top soil stripping related to the residential development of 22 properties across a site located to the site east of the High Street in order to fulfil a condition upon planning permission. A scatter of 13th-15th century pottery from the topsoil in the northern part of the site and a small amount of post-medieval pottery was revealed. A spread of ironstone rubble was also noted. [Au] |
