Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out at the site and three trenches were excavated, all of which contained features. Thirteen pieces of pottery were found, all but one dating to the 10/11th centuries. The evidence from occupation of this part of the site was slight but there was clearly pre-conquest activity close by. [Au] |
