Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out within part of a proposed development site which lay adjacent to Bozedown Camp, an Iron Age hillfort which was a Scheduled Ancient Monument. The site was crossed by the projected line of a Bronze Age ditch, identified in a previous evaluation nearby. During the 1996 evaluation, a linear feature which may have resulted from ploughing was recorded. No artefacts were recovered, and it was concluded that this part of the site had no archaeological potential. [AIP] |
