Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of foundations and service trenches at a development site. A previous evaluation at the site had revealed no archaeological deposits, although seven struck flints and several sherds of Iron Age or Roman pottery had been recovered. During the watching brief a number of modern features, including pits with clinker and brick debris, were noted, but no archaeological remains were observed. [AIP] |
