Abstract:		 The excavation aimed to clear the ground of human remains in advance of a proposed housing development whilst providing an osteological data set on a sample of the nineteenth century population. Although only a small percentage of the known inhumations at Gordon Terrace were recovered during this phase of archaeological works and only a few individuals could be positively identified the high potential for further analysis of the skeletal remains and possible further historical research, it was recommended that some further analysis of both the assemblage and historical records should be undertaken.
